The Painted Ladies Tattoo and Piercing

Hi I am Frank,

 

I am interested in traditional tattooing, solid line work and bold colours which stand the test of time. Heavily influenced by former artists who pioneered many of the notorious designs passed down through generations and re-created by artists for decades, even centuries. 

 

My work is inspired by the natural world and features alot of animals, often symbolic of love and superstitions worn by sailors at the turn of the century. 

 

Religious imagery and nods to the orient are also themed heavily in this style of work. These visual trinkets are often the symbol of a larger context and each artist puts their unique touches on the classic designs.
